Emilia herb (ger. Emilienkraut), is a medicinal plant widespread in the south of China. It is used there in folk medicine as antipyretic, as a remedy against influenza and grippal dysentery and analgetic. Following Tyrolian physician Leonhard Hohenegg, this herb is praised as a particularly effective remedy against fever, influenza, cough, and bronchitis in lay medicine [152]. Emilia herb contains senkirkine (52) and doronine (54) in a total concentration of up to 0.2% [153].
